About Me

I am Fernando Perea, a Logistics Technician with over 25 years of experience in the world of tourism and transportation. Throughout my career, I have worked for receptive agencies, transport companies, and in logistics for film shoots and corporate events all across Patagonia. From every experience, I learned something valuable: that trips are not just planned; they are felt, lived, and remembered.

That is how Patagonia Tours & Travel was born, an official Travel and Tourism Agency registered with the RNAV (Argentina's National Registry of Travel Agencies). My passion is designing customized proposals so that every traveler can discover the most incredible destinations at the end of the world with confidence, warmth, and safety. We create unique experiences in Ushuaia, El Calafate, El Chaltén, Torres del Paine, and Antarctica, blending nature, adventure, and the human touch that makes all the difference.

Legal

1. Agency Identification

Patagonia Tours EVT Leg. 20189 is a Travel and Tourism Agency duly registered with the National Registry of Travel Agencies (RNAV). The company acts as an intermediary between passengers and the final providers of tourism services (transport, accommodation, excursions, among others).

2. Object of the Contract

The contracting of tourism services through Patagonia Tours implies the acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The agency agrees to provide the services detailed in the itineraries and vouchers delivered to the passenger, in accordance with the conditions in effect at the time of confirmation.

3. Liability

Patagonia Tours acts as an intermediary between the client and the tourism service providers, and is not responsible for delays, losses, accidents, personal or material damages, or for changes or cancellations caused by force majeure, weather conditions, governmental decisions, or third-party providers. However, the agency will provide its full collaboration to assist and guide the passenger in the event of any inconvenience that may arise.

4. Reservations and Payments

Reservations will be considered confirmed once the requested amount or deposit has been paid. The balance must be paid within the deadlines informed by the agency. Failure to make payments may lead to the cancellation of the reservation, with the corresponding penalties applied according to current policies.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellations must be communicated in writing. In all cases, the cancellation policies of each provider and the agency's administrative fees will apply. Refundable amounts, if any, will be processed in the same currency and payment method used for the reservation. There will be no refund for services voluntarily unused by the passenger.

6. Modifications

The agency may modify itineraries, dates, or services when necessary for the better development of the trip or due to reasons beyond its control (e.g., weather conditions, road closures, operational or technical changes by providers). If a substantial change occurs, the passenger will be informed and may choose to accept the modifications or cancel without penalty.

7. Documentation and Requirements

It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to have the personal and health documentation required for the trip (ID, passport, visas, permits, vaccines, insurance, etc.). Patagonia Tours is not responsible for denial of boarding or entry to the destination due to missing or expired documentation.

8. Insurance

It is recommended to purchase travel assistance insurance that covers medical eventualities, lost luggage, and cancellations. In certain destinations or excursions, this insurance may be mandatory.

9. Claims

All claims must be submitted in writing within 15 (fifteen) days after the end of the trip or service. The agency will analyze each case in accordance with the current regulations of the Nation's Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

10. Jurisdiction

For any controversy arising from the interpretation or execution of this contract, the parties submit to the Ordinary Courts of the City of Ushuaia, Province of Tierra del Fuego, waiving any other jurisdiction.

11. Personal Data Protection

The information provided by passengers will be treated confidentially, in accordance with Law No. 25.326 on Personal Data Protection. The data will be used solely for the proper provision of the contracted services.

The contracting of any service with Patagonia Tours EVT Leg. 20189 implies the reading, understanding, and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
